The Lunch Punch Story

A little about the inventor of The Lunch Punch in her own words...


Hi, I'm Kiersten.
I live in Melbourne, Australia with my husband and 3 boys.
I started inventing 33 years ago, when I was 6.
My first invention was the plastic ice cube.
I needed something to keep my milk cold without
making it watery. Someone else beat me to market
on that one, but all my life I kept inventing new things.
(like "Skew-view" pop-up freeway curtains to stop rubbernecking at accidents,
"The buttoner"- a button stapler for business shirts using button cartridges and real string.
You can store it in your desk drawer at the office- see I'm still trying to pitch that one, I liked that.
The Bottle Buddy - dishwasher/counter-top bottle holder, and so on...it's a long list.)
Now I have filing cabinets full of inventions.
But there is one invention I'm passionate about...
The Lunch Punch®!

The Lunch Punch® was invented by a mother of 3 young children
to make lunch more fun for everyone.





As every parent knows, it's a daily challenge to make a healthy and appealing
lunch that kids will eat. Sandwiches are a mainstay in children's diets,
but they're so boring and kids don't like the crust.

The Lunch Punch® cuts sandwiches into fun and interactive shapes
while cutting off the crusts. The Lunch Punch® is designed to capture the most
amount of bread to minimize waste. It's also tall and gentle on little helping hands.

By the way, you don't have to throw away the crust. If you're a crust fan simply serve your
Lunch Punched sandwich in the crust frame. Or you can save your
crusts in a freezer bag then pull them out again when you make meatloaf,
crumbed chicken or to feed your friendly neighbourhood birds in winter.
